Calendula

The petals are the parts of this plant which possess the medicinal properties. They can be used as a tea, ointment or for internal use but only under the professional supervision.

When used externally, this is one of the best herbs for treating burns, scalds, cuts abrasions, and infections because of it’s antiseptic qualities.  It should be used anytime there is a cut or open skin, burns or scalds.  This herb can heal wounds very quickly, sometimes the next day, and the associated symptoms will be lessened.
