National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
The NDIS is a federally funded program which funds Australians aged under 65 who have permanent and significant disability. Funding includes many areas – services, assistive technology/devices, consumables, housing modifications and facilitation to social activities. Services and products must be supplied through a registered provider. Wal’s Pharmacy is a registered NDIS provider.
The NDIS provides participants with a unique and specific plan and may be accessed by participants in a self managed, plan managed or agency managed manner.
